Since my early days in the Irish Air
Corps at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnell, Co. Dublin, I
have been fascinated by electronics and spent most of my
spare time studying and designing various gadgets.
With the advent of the 'Microprocessor'
in the mid 1970's and the subsequent availability of
'Personal Computers', this opened up a whole new world
and I subsequently became fully involved in Computer
Programming and "Computer-Aided-Design" (CAD) design of
microprocessor controlled electronic devices.
Amongst my designs were a 'Portable
Speech Communicator' for persons with speech
difficulties which was launched at the "First World
Congress on Disabilities" in Washington D.C. in
December, 1991 which I sold for manufacture and
distribution in the U.S.A. In 1993 I designed and sold
an "Electronic Acupuncture Machine" which was used,
amongst others, by the "Cappagh Hospital" in Dublin, for
the effective relief of 'Phantom Pain Syndrome' by
persons who still suffer the sensation of pain in a lost
limb.
In 1998 I became involved in computer
networking and maintenance and continued on to develop
this business to the present day.
I currently have a large client base
including Solicitors, Barristers, Private Business
Owners, Motor Traders and Home users to whom I provide a
complete range of services including: On-Site Computer
and Network Maintenance, Virus Removal and Prevention,
Server Installation and Intranet Setup, Domain Name
Setup and Implementation and Website Design. I also
provide a setup service for DJ's and Entertainers, as
most of these now use laptops to present their shows.
My goal is to continue to provide an
efficient and up-to-date service for all my clients,
present and future.
